It's been a while since my last journal,but I just wanted to mention that the problems with the Fission Chicken site have been cleared up with a fresh installation of new blogware. That is all. Beep!
Health and website stuffI haven't commented on my post-operation health since May, so rather than keep you all in suspense, I'll just say that my health continues to be healthy. No wait, that's a tautology, what I mean is that I am well and doing fine... nothing to report, really... so instead I'll write about how my site at fissionchicken.com has gone wonky, or at least wonkier than usual; the comics show up, but the posts below are missing! The titles of the posts are there, but that's all. No Video Goodies, no comments, nothing. Maybe it'll clear up mysteriously by itself...
Every Day In Every Way...I am getting better and better. Went to the doctor yesterday (one of the doctors who had seen me in St. Michaels hospital)... he gave my heart and lungs a listen, checked blood pressure, looked over some of my veins, asked questions... everything is looking real good! (One big relief is that the swelling in my feet and lower legs went away; for a while there, they could get pretty painful whenever I stood up after reclining for any length of time. Also, the horrible-looking blisters on top of my feet have dried up. They were big, about four inches in diameter... they looked like jellyfish! Yech!) The huge purple areas on my legs (from the vein harvesting) have likewise faded, the surgery scars are healing nicely, and Ive lost some weight, too. Still taking the meds twice a day, and have added sessions on an electronic treadmillup to three sessions daily, now.
Ill really have to draw something up and post it soon, too!
Whatever Happened To J.P. Morgan?(WARNING: lengthy article.)
As the weeks have passed with no update to my site, some of you out there might be wondering what I have been doing with myself lately. Some among you might plug in some snarky guesses, but youd be wrong. I have been in the hospital for a quadruple bypass! Yow!
It happened on April 1; I was walking down to the Post Office to deliver some mail when a deep voice reverberated out of the sky, HAPPY APRIL FOOLS DAY, JOHN! And I fell over like a big sack of potatoes. Actually I dont recall a voice or collapsing or anything... closest thing I can remember is leaving the house. I come to in an ambulancethey had to shock me like nine times, because I was unresponsivewith people working on me and asking me if I was okay. (Apart from being semiconscious in an ambulance, I guessed I was.)
Bayshore Hospital checks me out; they say to get me up to St. Michaels in Newark, a hospital highly-rated for heart treatment. I get x-r
Commissions AvailableLooking at some of the weird things in my gallery, perhaps you have had longings for similar art for your very own. Well, that's easily fulfilledI am indeed taking commissions! They start at just $25.00 for a one-character color digital drawing. The scale goes up with additional characters, backgrounds and stuff. A color comic page starts at $50.00! Wow! I take PayPal. Please send note if interested. (The art-teest reserves right to not accept subjects he can't stand.) Thank you. Please resume looking at art.
More Flash StuffNo particular reason for this journal entryit's just that the previous one had been up almost a year now! I will say that I've begun the initial stages of a new Flash thing, a simple "trailer" for a Fission Chicken movie. (No, there's no movie, just makin' a trailer!) More later...

Rotten ChipmunksI just thought I'd point out this great blog entry by Mark Mayerson on the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie (and the Horton Hears a Who one, too). Amen, Mr. Mayerson... amen!!
Creepy CGI CrittersSpeaking of animated films (and we weren't) -- what is it with the seemingly endless parade of cruddy CGI funny-animal feature flicks? It's like all the movie studios were required by law to produce and release CGI-critter movies that are (1) obnoxious, (2) loud, and (3) replete with fart and crap gags. (Before this, of course, such films were allowed to be 2-D, i.e. "Home on the Range.")
The Art of MisunderstandingCompliments are a bit of a tricky and weird thing.
Especially on an international webpage.
=> the misunderstanding
In Switzerland you can tell someone who's a cool person that they are "en geile siech". Now, this is a really big compliment here, even though it's not considered the most polite vocabulary. Still, big compliment.
If you translate that 1:1 into any other language, you will tell the other person they are a sexually arousing and rotting corpse of a horse.
Don't do that, most people don't will look kindly on it. d:
Of course the same problem exists in the other way too. I was feeling rather saddened by the first one who told me that my drawings are "da shit". I had NO idea that this is a positive thing! I just assumed the other person told me that my works were bad. Thankfully, I asked them why they thought of my drawings as bad, which helped clearing that misunderstanding up really fast.
=> "Looks like Ghibli!"
After a few years on dA, I started to hate

For each category simply open up random.org and put 1 in the min section and the max number given next to each category in the max section and hit generate. Do this with all or only some of the categories, if you don't like what you get you can always re-role.
Works best if you add multiple quirks and fears.

ALL Next Gen Fun Facts!This is fan made!
All Next Gen Fun Facts! :iconwoootplz: Everything from my previous fun facts journals as well as some new ones are in here I probably won't make any more new Fun Facts journals. Instead, I'll just add them in here and let you know if there are any updates (if they are worth mentioning of course) I'll probably add more to the younger characters later since I'm still developing them. HOLY FRICK THIS JOURNAL IS LONG!
If this journal in particular is too long, you can look at these kinda shorter ones that narrow the characters down by category

Dirty Little Secret. (Claude Faustus X Reader)Let me know that I've done wrong
When I've known this all along
I go around a time or two
Just to waste my time with you
(Y/n) squirmed under the demon's grasp. Her brightly and thickly slathered red blush across her cheeks didn't help in this situation either. The black haired man smirked widely, his glasses sliding a bit down the bridge of his nose. "(Y/n)...why are you so afraid?" He asked oh-so-sweetly, making her (e/c) eyes lock with his crimson ones. "Y-You're a s-s-sadist, dammit..." She huffed and looked to the side, just as the creature made from Satan himself leaned down so that his lips met with her cheek.

The (h/c) haired girl gulped a bit. Him being a demon was enough...but being intimate like this? It frightened her a bit. He never looked at her during the time that she worked, and only spoke to her if he needed a chore done. What was this? Did s
